Your sales: A, B and C products, rising and falling
A products are your few key products that make 80% of sales, B the next 15%, C the many small ones that make the last 5%.
A products: your few key products. Together they make the first 80% of your sales in the period you picked. Never let them run out: check their stock every week and order them first.
B products: the steady middle, the next 15% of sales. Check them every two to four weeks.
C products: the many small sellers that together make the last 5%. Order them less often and in smaller amounts, and ask whether each one is worth the shelf space.
Rising and falling compares each product's sales in the period you picked (for example the last 12 weeks) with the same length just before it (the 12 weeks before). The dates are shown above the list. Only changes of 10% or more appear, for products that sold at least 5 units in one of the two periods.
When you sell most: Hour and Day need a file with the time or the date of each sale; Week and Month work from weekly totals too. Month shows the average for each month of the year, so seasons stand out.
Everything comes from your own sales file, the same numbers the forecast used, and is deleted with the results.
