What sales data do I need?
Past sales with a date and a quantity, and ideally a column that names each product.
A date (or date and time), a quantity sold (or sales amount), and a column that identifies each product. A store or location column is optional.
History: at least twice as long as the period you want to forecast. With 12 to 24 months, yearly patterns like summer or Christmas can be learned too.
One row per sale, one row per product per day, or one column per month all work: the app organizes it for you.
